2023 was the year I tackled art head on more than I ever have in my entire life. With 22 pieces on this page, averaging just less than twice a month, I hope the progression throughout the year shows for itself!
I also went through about a dozen different art books this year (another new record for myself), just absorbing all these ideas and techniques from professionals, and inspiring me to go above and beyond in my own work.
Usually Smash has been my main hobby / focus outside of work, but this year I was curious in how it’d be if it was art instead. For the first time ever since the beginning of college, Smash was put on the side (still attending events but playing mostly for fun and to socialize, more than actually wanting to be good at it), and alas this is the result 🙂
